Aqua Gala Cup gathered international young talents in TK Đukić

From April 13 to 18, the Đukić tennis club hosted the Aqua Gala Cup international junior tournament, which brings together young talents from around the world. As a tournament from the Tennis Europe calendar, in the under-14 category (Category 2), the Aqua Gala Cup brought together different styles of play, cultures and generations in the same place.

The tournament was preceded by two days of qualifications, during which young competitors had the opportunity to win their place in the main draw. Even then it was clear that the competition would be extremely strong, and the matches exciting until the very end.

In such an atmosphere, during the main part of the tournament, the audience had the opportunity to watch quality play, this time on clay. In the women's singles competition, the first place was won by Milica Ćapin, who showed a safe and focused game throughout the tournament, while the second place went to Kasia Kukrik. In the men's competition, the title was won by the outstanding Emil Alexiev, while the finalist was Vietor-Alexander Dobrescu. The semi-final stages were marked by notable performances by David Valentin Goldiș and Darius Alexandru Rațiu from Romania, who further raised the level of the competition with their games.

The doubles competition brought a special dynamic and energy to the field. In the girls category, the victory was won by Amira Khanipova and Aksiniia Velikolug, while the second place was taken by Kasia and Aleka Kukrik, who excelled with their excellent team play.

"The Aqua Gala Cup has once again shown how important tournaments like this are for the development of young athletes - not only as an opportunity for competition, but also as a space for gaining experience, international exchange and building sportsmanship," says the club's director, Petar Đukić. Thanks to the support of partners and sponsors, including Aqua Gala, Auto Nena Stil, Siberian Wellness, Tennis Association of Serbia, Tennis Association of Belgrade and Tennis Europe, the organization of the tournament took place at a high level, in accordance with the standards of international competitions.

During several April days, Tennis Club Đukić was the place of future champions, but also a reminder that top results are built continuously, outside the comfort zone and with an environment that knows how to support.
