The Aqua Gala Open international tournament, organized by the Đukić tennis club and Tennis Europe, brought together the best male and female players under the age of 14 from all over the world who showed extraordinary talent and perseverance on the court. Ena Ilić stood out as the best in the girls' category, and Luca Alexandru Milos as the best.
"Good tennis and good behavior on the court, that's the first thing that comes to my mind when I summarize the impressions from this year's and all the previous Tennis Europe tournaments that we organized. Also, hard-working children who understand the importance of such tournaments and who know that going out on the court is necessary", are the impressions of TK Đukić director Petar Đukić.
Aqua Gala Open Besides Ene Ilić, who won the gold medal, Marija Đukić played with her in the final, while Lana Agbaba and Iva Ivanković placed third.
In the men's competition, Pavle Stojiljković played in the final with the winner of Luca Alexandru Milos, and third place was shared by Georgi Georgiev and Mario Vuković. In parallel with the singles, the doubles also took place, so Georgi Georgiev and Vladimir Tzonkov won the gold medal in the men's category, and Marija Đukić and Ena Ilić in the women's category. During the awards ceremony, Nikola Ćaćić joined us and presented awards to the most outstanding competitors from all categories.
This year's tournament included a supervisor, licensed ITF White Badge referee Stefan Čukić. "The organization of the Đukić tennis club was again at the highest possible level. The players were fair and sportingly correct, while the matches themselves were really exciting. The young talents showed this sport in the best light, so much so that even the occasional rain did not spoil the atmosphere and performance," Stefan told us.
In addition to the great support given to us by Tennis Europe again, our friends tried their best not to let the players down - Aqua Gala water, Tennis Association of Serbia, Tennis Association of Belgrade and Kendy were with us again.
